Hi, I’m Jackie Victory, glass artist, wife and Mum of three fantastic girls.

On this site, you’ll find my portfolio of handmade glass work – door panels, jewellery, lettering, platters, light-catchers and more.

My creative love affair with glass began in 2002, when I was expecting my first child.

Ten years and 3 children later I have mastered traditional methods of working with glass ( leading and copper foiling ) to the more modern kiln-formed glass techniques such as fusing, kiln carving, sandblasting and glass painting.

I particularly enjoy mixing different techniques together to enhance the texture of the piece and create a patchwork effect. ( see panels and landscapes )

Part of my fascination with glass is it’s play on light, versatility of colour and texture and that it can be moulded into different forms. I also like it’s functional qualities – it can be turned into a beautiful panel enhancing the light brought into the home or a building, or into a vessel to enhance food on the table, as well as original jewellery and gifts.

I’m a Member of the North Bristol Artists. The North Bristol Art Trail happens annually in the last weekend in November, and I exhibit my glass there every year. Come and visit!
